Mom: Remember that engineering job I mentioned? Turns out that your grandfather and I are going to need your help with the maps after all.
Me: Okay. About how long would you estimate it to take me? I'm asking because I have freelance work that I've already made commitments to work on over the summer.
Mom: Yes, but this job actually PAYS. As in REAL money.

Holy hell, have I been productive or what? The second finals were over, all my pent-up creativity just exploded all over Photoshop.

First up is a rough sketch of Giselle & Goliat for Grievous-Girl. Seeing as these two are original characters, I really want to make sure I get their look right before finalizing the sketch.

Goliat’s clothing is drawn from a combination of in-game turian clothing and Saren Arterius’s concept art. Goliat’s clearly got a fondness for black and high collars, so I kept on those themes. The shape of Giselle’s dress is based mostly on one I found in this here photoset, but she loves her frilly clothing, so I added ruffles. Overall, the effect of their clothing is rather formal, (even with Goliat’s bare chest). Maybe they’re on a date? Still a tad iffy on the background. We’ll have to see what becomes of it.

Next is the finalized sketch of Detective Anya (that asari cop you run across in Samara’s recruitment mission) for Mary. (Seeing as Anya is a canon character, this sketch progressed more quickly.) This sketch has been approved of, and man, I am very much looking forward to that Illium cityscape. <3

Oh, also! I’ve closed commissions, seeing as four slots have currently been filled, in addition to the graphic design work I’ll be doing this summer. Thank you for your support, everyone!
